START AT THE SOURCE

Official Resources
A Practical Plan

Use the county’s school district directory to identify official district resources. Confirm each property’s district and campus with the relevant district; Fort Bend ISD is one district, not the entire county.

Resource links reviewed October 18, 2026. Check each source’s reporting year and current information. Confirm the property’s school assignment directly with the district.

YOUR SCHOOL RESEARCH ROADMAP

Five Questions to Take
Into Your Next Conversation

01

Confirm the assignment

Use the exact property address and the school year you need. Save the district’s response and ask whether a boundary change applies.

02

Understand the reports

Read the reporting year, measures and context in TEA school report cards. Use several sources; a single score is only one part of your research.

03

Explore your priorities

Ask about programs, electives, transportation, after-school options, accessibility and enrollment. Direct student-specific questions to the school.

04

Hear a local experience

A homeowner’s experience can add perspective. Ask when they attended or lived in the area; experiences are personal and can change.

05

Plan the move

Keep school verification separate from your housing decision. If you want real estate help, tell us what matters to you and request it explicitly.

Request a district resource, a checklist by email, or a homeowner perspective. If you also want real estate help, choose that separately.

  • Your contact information stays private.
  • Homeowner introductions require permission and availability.

A Few Helpful Distinctions

Does a City Name Tell Me the School District?

Do not rely on a city, mailing address or listing description alone. Verify the exact property address and school year with the district.

Can MODR Guarantee Enrollment or Admission?

No. District assignment, enrollment requirements and choice-program admissions are managed by the district. Confirm them directly.

Will I Be Contacted About Buying a Home?

A school-information request allows a response to that request. Home-search assistance and future marketing updates each have separate, optional choices on the form.

Can I Speak with a Homeowner?

You can request a perspective. MODR will check availability and permission. We never publish homeowner contact details or automatically connect you to a past client.
